As praias do Litoral de S\u00e3o Paulo est\u00e3o em alerta com a polui\u00e7\u00e3o do mar. Se n\u00e3o bastasse a situa\u00e7\u00e3o atual, com o lixo vindo das palafitas e dos canais, outro grave problema divulgado pela ONG Ecomov \u00e9 que houve aumento de 300% no volume de lixo internacional<\/strong> encontrado. O dado \u00e9 comparado com 2019 e nesta \u00faltima coleta, realizada entre setembro de 2022 e maio de 2023, foram recolhidos 1,6 mil itens de origem estrangeira, incluindo material cancer\u00edgeno e corrosivo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Segundo a ONG, o lixo foi coletado em S\u00e3o Vicente e Peru\u00edbe e representam 75% do material internacional recolhido no litoral do estado.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Em S\u00e3o Vicente, a origem de lixos da China e Mal\u00e1sia predominaram, sendo respectivamente 40% chineses e 20% malaios. Tamb\u00e9m foram encontrados produtos da Turquia e R\u00fassia.<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 em Peru\u00edbe, os lixos vindos da China foram os mais presentes, o equivalente a 37% do material recolhido. Na cidade tamb\u00e9m foram achados produtos dos EUA, Su\u00e9cia, Alemanha, Turquia, Mal\u00e1sia e Singapura.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A Ecomov explicou que os materiais recolhidos v\u00e3o desde embalagens alimentares, itens de higiene pessoal e cosm\u00e9ticos, at\u00e9 produtos utilizados na limpeza e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de por\u00f5es, selantes, colas e produtos com metabissulfito, que segundo ele \u00e9 altamente cancer\u00edgeno e corrosivo<\/span>.<\/p>\n

O primeiro registro e coleta de material com metabissulfito no Litoral de S\u00e3o Paulo foi em 2019. Mas a partir da\u00ed, em todos os anos novas embalagens com o produto foram encontradas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Na quinta-feira (25), a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o abriu um Termo de Ajuste de Conduta (TAC) com o Grupo de Atua\u00e7\u00e3o Especializada em Meio Ambiente (Gaema) para monitorar todas as praias do litoral de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A iniciativa busca catalogar os itens encontrados para pressionar as autoridades a intensificarem a fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de limpeza de navios. O motivo \u00e9 porque a maior parte do lixo internacional que vai parar nas praias vem de navios que atracam nos portos do estado.<\/p>\n

At\u00e9 o momento o Gaema n\u00e3o se manifestou sobre o caso. Assim que houver um pronunciamento, ter\u00e1 a resposta divulgada.<\/p>\n
