A Prefeitura de S\u00e3o Vicente questiona a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de mais um pres\u00eddio<\/strong> na cidade, anunciado pelo Governo de S\u00e3o Paulo. O prefeito Kayo Amado (Podemos) enviou um of\u00edcio exigindo esclarecimentos e tamb\u00e9m pede contrapartidas.<\/p>\n

Isso porque o pr\u00e9dio que est\u00e1 destinado para ser um pres\u00eddio feminino, na \u00c1rea Continental de S\u00e3o Vicente, tamb\u00e9m vai abrigar o Centro de Progress\u00e3o Penitenci\u00e1ria (CPP) masculino. A previs\u00e3o \u00e9 que ele seja aberto ainda em 2021. At\u00e9 o momento um Centro de Deten\u00e7\u00e3o Provis\u00f3ria, duas penitenci\u00e1rias e uma Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Casa est\u00e3o funcionando na cidade.<\/p>\n

\u201cO objetivo \u00e9 questionar o Governo do Estado sobre os investimentos em excesso que S\u00e3o Vicente recebe para a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de unidades prisionais. Estou solicitando uma audi\u00eancia para que possamos pleitear contrapartidas. Entendemos que essas \u00e1reas que hoje abrigam pres\u00eddios, poderiam ser contempladas com ind\u00fastrias e empresas que gerariam empregos e renda aos vicentinos\u201d, explica o prefeito.<\/p>\n

Ainda segundo o prefeito de S\u00e3o Vicente<\/a>, a decis\u00e3o de mais um pres\u00eddio na cidade pode gerar riscos e inseguran\u00e7a para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o vicentina. “O povo vicentino merece essa considera\u00e7\u00e3o por parte do Governador. Queremos explica\u00e7\u00f5es e as melhorias devidas, como \u00e9 o exemplo do PS da Linha Vermelha, que sugerimos que o Governo do Estado custeie e nos ajude a ampliar leitos na pandemia, mas at\u00e9 agora n\u00e3o tivemos uma sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o positiva\u201d, comenta.<\/p>\n
