Ap\u00f3s a\u00a0fuga de dois presos da Penitenci\u00e1ria Federal de Mossor\u00f3 (RN)<\/a> na madrugada desta quarta-feira (14), o Minist\u00e9rio da Justi\u00e7a e Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica ir\u00e1 modernizar o sistema de videomonitoramento dos cinco pres\u00eddios federais e aperfei\u00e7oar o\u00a0controle de acesso, inclusive com reconhecimento facial de todos que ingressam nas unidades prisionais.<\/p>\n

Medidas foram anunciadas pelo ministro Ricardo Lewandowski nesta quinta-feira (15).\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e3o ampliados os sistemas de alarmes e sensores de presen\u00e7a nas\u00a0unidades prisionais federais. O governo pretende ainda viabilizar, por meio do Fundo Penitenci\u00e1rio Nacional (Funpen), a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de muralhas em todos os pres\u00eddios federais, a exemplo do que foi feito no pres\u00eddio do Distrito Federal.<\/p>\n

Outra medida anunciada pelo ministro \u00e9 a requisi\u00e7\u00e3o para a nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de 80 policiais penais federais, aprovados em concurso p\u00fablico, para refor\u00e7ar o sistema prisional federal. Parte do contingente ser\u00e1 deslocado para Mossor\u00f3.<\/p>\n
