O jornalista Paulo Soares, conhecido como \u201cAmig\u00e3o\u201d, morreu nesta segunda-feira (29), aos 63 anos, em S\u00e3o Paulo. A causa da morte n\u00e3o foi informada. O vel\u00f3rio ocorre hoje, das 13h \u00e0s 17h, na capital paulista.<\/p>\n

Natural de Araras, Paulo iniciou a carreira na r\u00e1dio Ararense aos 15 anos e ficou conhecido como \u201cAmig\u00e3o da Galera\u201d durante seu trabalho na R\u00e1dio Record, nos anos 1990. Atuou em emissoras como SBT, Record, Cultura e Gazeta, antes de se juntar \u00e0 TVA Esportes em 1994, que se tornou ESPN Brasil em 1995.<\/p>\n

O jornalista ganhou destaque nacional apresentando o SportsCenter ao lado de Antero Greco, formando uma das duplas mais conhecidas do jornalismo esportivo brasileiro. Juntos, comandaram o programa por mais de 20 anos, cobrindo Copas do Mundo, Olimp\u00edadas e outros grandes eventos esportivos, sempre com irrever\u00eancia e proximidade com o p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n
