A Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o (CNTE) e o Partido Verde (PV) protocolaram uma a\u00e7\u00e3o no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) com o objetivo de garantir acesso \u00e0 internet m\u00f3vel a todos os brasileiros durante as 72 horas que antecedem as elei\u00e7\u00f5es, independentemente do limite da franquia de dados. A a\u00e7\u00e3o foi enviada ao ministro Cristiano Zanin na ter\u00e7a-feira (22).<\/p>\n
A iniciativa busca assegurar a todos os cidad\u00e3os o acesso \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o disponibilizada pela imprensa profissional e a mecanismos de busca online. Al\u00e9m disso, pretende evitar que os eleitores fiquem restritos a plataformas como WhatsApp e Instagram, que podem ser utilizadas para disseminar desinforma\u00e7\u00e3o, principalmente por aqueles que possuem planos de dados limitados. O grupo destaca que os cidad\u00e3os de baixa renda s\u00e3o os mais impactados por essa limita\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
Segundo as entidades, a diferen\u00e7a no acesso \u00e0 internet entre as classes sociais gera uma barreira ao direito \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o e dificulta a participa\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica em igualdade de condi\u00e7\u00f5es, tanto nas elei\u00e7\u00f5es gerais quanto nas municipais. A CNTE e o PV s\u00e3o integrantes da iniciativa Democracia Sem Franquia, que re\u00fane 19 organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da sociedade civil e originou-se de estudos do grupo Sleeping Giants Brasil sobre a desigualdade no acesso \u00e0 internet.<\/p>\n
Os dados apresentados indicam que, entre os 64,1 milh\u00f5es de adultos conectados no Brasil, cerca de um em cada tr\u00eas passa ao menos um dia por m\u00eas sem franquia de dados, e 29,5 milh\u00f5es ficam sem acesso por oito dias ou mais.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cPara as entidades, o acesso ao jornalismo profissional funciona, nesse contexto, como uma importante camada de verifica\u00e7\u00e3o e contraponto \u00e0s informa\u00e7\u00f5es que circulam dentro das plataformas\u201d, afirmou a iniciativa Democracia Sem Franquia.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
