A nova unidade foi instalada no Instituto Nacional de Criminal\u00edstica (INC), em Bras\u00edlia.<\/strong> Esta a\u00e7\u00e3o faz parte do Programa Ouro Alvo, que recebe apoio do Fundo Amaz\u00f4nia, dentro do contexto do Plano Amaz\u00f4nia: Seguran\u00e7a e Soberania (Amas). <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1707647&amp;o=node\" style=\"width:1px; height:1px; display:inline;\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1707647&amp;o=node\" style=\"width:1px; height:1px; display:inline;\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>O Programa Ouro Alvo disp\u00f5e de R$ 318,5 milh\u00f5es provenientes do fundo<\/strong>, que \u00e9 gerido pelo Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico e Social (BNDES) em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com o Minist\u00e9rio do Meio Ambiente e Mudan\u00e7a do Clima (MMA). O objetivo \u00e9 fortalecer as a\u00e7\u00f5es de intelig\u00eancia, fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e repress\u00e3o ao crime organizado na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica.<\/p>\n<p>Atrav\u00e9s da an\u00e1lise detalhada das caracter\u00edsticas das jazidas brasileiras, <strong>o projeto busca criar bases cient\u00edficas que ajudem a identificar a origem do ouro.<\/strong> A nova tecnologia possibilitar\u00e1 a compara\u00e7\u00e3o entre amostras de ouro apreendidas e registros existentes, fornecendo dados significativos para investiga\u00e7\u00f5es e opera\u00e7\u00f5es de monitoramento. Al\u00e9m de contribuir na identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de explora\u00e7\u00e3o ilegal, essa iniciativa visa desestimular novos crimes relacionados \u00e0 minera\u00e7\u00e3o irregular e o desmatamento decorrente dessa atividade.<\/p>\n<p>Os recursos do programa financiar\u00e3o a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de equipamentos para an\u00e1lises minerais e de merc\u00fario, al\u00e9m de m\u00e1quinas, materiais e estruturas necess\u00e1rios para a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o, caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o e armazenamento das amostras. O plano \u00e9 dividido em quatro eixos de atua\u00e7\u00e3o e conta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o da PF, da Pol\u00edcia Rodovi\u00e1ria Federal (PRF), da For\u00e7a Nacional de Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica (FNSP) e dos governos dos nove estados da Amaz\u00f4nia Legal.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cEste laborat\u00f3rio representa um avan\u00e7o crucial na luta contra o garimpo ilegal. Estamos aprimorando a capacidade da Pol\u00edcia Federal de rastrear a origem do ouro, produzindo evid\u00eancias cient\u00edficas e combatendo crimes ambientais, permitindo ao Brasil alcan\u00e7ar marcos hist\u00f3ricos na redu\u00e7\u00e3o do desmatamento\u201d, declarou Humberto Freire de Barros, diretor da Amaz\u00f4nia e Meio Ambiente da Pol\u00edcia Federal.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ele ainda enfatizou que \u201co combate ao garimpo ilegal na Amaz\u00f4nia \u00e9 uma prioridade do governo do presidente Lula. A identifica\u00e7\u00e3o do \u2018DNA do ouro\u2019 fortalece a rastreabilidade do mineral, dificulta as a\u00e7\u00f5es de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es criminosas e amplia a nossa capacidade de fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Essa iniciativa reafirma o compromisso com a prote\u00e7\u00e3o do meio ambiente, a defesa dos territ\u00f3rios afetados pela atividade ilegal e a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de uma economia sustent\u00e1vel e inclusiva\u201d, afirmou Aloizio Mercadante, presidente do BNDES.<\/p>\n<p>O apoio do Fundo Amaz\u00f4nia ao Programa Ouro Alvo garante a infraestrutura necess\u00e1ria para a an\u00e1lise e armazenamento de amostras no centro de per\u00edcia criminal do Instituto Nacional de Criminal\u00edstica (INC) da Pol\u00edcia Federal, em Bras\u00edlia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEsse laborat\u00f3rio ser\u00e1 um marco importante no combate ao garimpo ilegal na Amaz\u00f4nia. Precisamos ir al\u00e9m das opera\u00e7\u00f5es pontuais e atingir o poder econ\u00f4mico que sustenta essas atividades criminosas.
