E a vida de quem vive na \u00c1rea Continental para ir \u00e0 \u00c1rea Insular ou a Santos tem que ter paci\u00eancia devido a uma lentid\u00e3o no tr\u00e2nsito. O deslocamento poderia ser mais pr\u00e1tico se o <strong>Ve\u00edculo Leve sobre Trilhos (VLT)<\/strong> j\u00e1 chegasse para a \u00c1rea Continental.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o Governo de S\u00e3o Paulo, a terceira fase do projeto executivo ainda est\u00e1 em licita\u00e7\u00e3o. Ou seja, ainda \u00e9 feita a escolha da empresa respons\u00e1vel pela obra. A deputada federal Rosana Valle cobrou o secret\u00e1rio executivo da Secretaria de Transportes Metropolitanos do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo, Paulo Jos\u00e9 Galli. A parlamentar justificou que na \u00c1rea Continental vivem 150 mil pessoas e elas seriam beneficiadas com o modal ferrovi\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>Rosana Valle pediu ao Estado que esta terceira fase fosse realizada ao mesmo tempo que a segunda, que est\u00e1 em andamento para levar o VLT ao Centro de Santos. A deputada argumentou que os moradores dos bairros distantes do Centro e de cidades como S\u00e3o Vicente s\u00e3o os que mais precisam de transporte p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p>O secret\u00e1rio executivo informou que o trecho Barreiros-Samarit\u00e1 est\u00e1 na fase de licita\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto executivo e que as propostas t\u00e9cnicas das empresas concorrentes foram abertas em mar\u00e7o e encontram-se em an\u00e1lise da pasta.<\/p>\n<p>A deputada tamb\u00e9m cobrou a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da liga\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria, que passa junto da ponte rodovi\u00e1ria dos Barreiros, para que possa suportar a passagem do VLT.
