Mas a <strong>estrutura f\u00e9rrea<\/strong>, que era utilizada para a passagem de trens est\u00e1 abandonada. Ela fica ao lado da Ponte dos Barreiros, mas n\u00e3o recebeu nenhum cuidado de reparo. O pedido das autoridades \u00e9 que ela seja revitalizada, especialmente para que o Ve\u00edculo Leve sobre Trilhos (VLT) circule e v\u00e1 at\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00c1rea Continental.<\/p>\n<p>A deputada federal Rosana Valle (PSB) e o deputado estadual Caio Fran\u00e7a (PSB) se manifestaram sobre o assunto enquanto acompanhavam o andamento das obras da Ponte dos Barreiros. Acontece a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o estrutural da estrutura rodovi\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com os parlamentares, eles ficaram impressionados com o grau de corros\u00e3o, pela ferrugem, da grande estrutura e v\u00e3o pedir um posicionamento a respeito \u00e0 Secretaria de Log\u00edstica e Transportes do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo e \u00e0 Empresa Metropolitana de Transportes Urbanos (EMTU), respons\u00e1vel pelo VLT.<\/p>\n<p>A Secretaria de Log\u00edstica e Transportes informou que est\u00e1 licitando o projeto executivo da terceira fase do VLT, que \u00e9 justamente a etapa que far\u00e1 este transporte chegar ao continente e atender os moradores daqueles bairros, que s\u00e3o os que mais necessitam deste modal, que hoje atende Santos e a parte insular de S\u00e3o Vicente.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEntendemos que a ponte ferrovi\u00e1ria deve ser preparada para receber o VLT, e por isso perguntamos se aquela imensa carca\u00e7a enferrujada ser\u00e1 removida\u201d, afirmou Rosana Valle.<\/p>\n<p>A estrutura de ferro tem chamado ainda mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o agora que os motoristas que transitam pela ponte s\u00e3o obrigados a obedecer ao sistema \u201dsiga e pare\u201d, que permite a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de apenas uma pista por vez. O uso de apenas uma pista atende medidas de seguran\u00e7a para as obras.<\/p>\n<h3>Pedido para a terceira fase<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAs pessoas olham a enorme estrutura enferrujada, no meio da ponte, e perguntam se n\u00e3o h\u00e1 risco. Mais que isso. Temos que saber como est\u00e1 a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o da ponte ferrovi\u00e1ria para a passagem do VLT. Se a estrutura n\u00e3o sair e a ponte n\u00e3o for preparada, ela servir\u00e1 de mais um pretexto para atrasar a chegada do VLT na \u00c1rea Continental\u201d, afirmou o deputado estadual Caio Fran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>A deputada Rosana Valle entende que o VLT j\u00e1 est\u00e1 atrasado e reivindicou ao Governo do Estado a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o da terceira fase junto com a segunda, que j\u00e1 est\u00e1 em andamento para levar o modal ao Centro de Santos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA maior necessidade \u00e9 atender \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o que mora mais distante. Este projeto precisa sair logo.
