Quatro pessoas foram presas em flagrante na tarde de ter\u00e7a-feira (5) por\u00a0furto\u00a0de energia<\/strong>\u00a0em Guaruj\u00e1<\/a><\/strong>. Durante a opera\u00e7\u00e3o, a Neoenergia Elektro, com o apoio da Pol\u00edcia Civil, identificou fraudes em com\u00e9rcios no bairro Arei\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

O volume de energia recuperado \u00e9 o suficiente\u00a0para abastecer cerca de 2 mil casas durante 30 dias. Esta \u00e9 a quinta opera\u00e7\u00e3o no munic\u00edpio, onde j\u00e1 foram identificadas 13 fraudes e nove pris\u00f5es. O volume total\u00a0de energia recuperado \u00e9 suficiente para abastecer mais de 12 mil resid\u00eancias.<\/p>\n

S\u00f3 no primeiro semestre de 2021,\u00a0foram recuperados 31,06 GWh de energia com as a\u00e7\u00f5es da \u201cOpera\u00e7\u00e3o Varredura\u201d. Ao todo, foram 26 mil inspe\u00e7\u00f5es, oito opera\u00e7\u00f5es com o apoio policial e a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de 33 mil medidores obsoletos ou com defeito. \u00a0As a\u00e7\u00f5es de combate \u00e0s liga\u00e7\u00f5es clandestinas ser\u00e3o intensificadas at\u00e9 o final do ano.<\/p>\n

O furto de energia – conhecido como “gato” – \u00e9 crime previsto no artigo 155 do C\u00f3digo Penal e a pena para o respons\u00e1vel pela fraude pode chegar a oito anos de reclus\u00e3o.\u00a0Al\u00e9m de crime, o \u201cgato\u201d representa risco de morte a quem faz e a quem est\u00e1 pr\u00f3ximo. A liga\u00e7\u00e3o clandestina tamb\u00e9m provoca perturba\u00e7\u00f5es no fornecimento de energia da regi\u00e3o e pode provocar a queima de eletrodom\u00e9sticos dos vizinhos.<\/p>\n
