O boxe brasileiro presenciou um momento hist\u00f3rico onde o esporte e a cultura travaram uma mistura mesclada com competividade e humor. Acelino “Pop\u00f3” Freitas deixou a aposentadoria e aos 46 anos voltou aos ringues para um desafio curioso. Ele foi enfrentar o humorista e youtuber Whindersson Nunes<\/strong>, que aos 27 anos, decidiu entrar na carreira do boxe.<\/p>\n

A luta aconteceu em Balne\u00e1rio Cambori\u00fa<\/a>, Santa Catarina e reuniu celebridades, m\u00fasica e outras lutas que fizeram parte do card principal, que era um Fight Music Show. Embora Pop\u00f3 tenha dominado a luta, com ajuda da arbitragem, o youtuber resistiu aos golpes. O empate coroou a festa.<\/p>\n

O tetracampe\u00e3o mundial atendeu ao pedido e evitou nocautear, apesar de dominar toda a luta. A arbitragem teve de encerrar alguns rounds antes da hora para manter Whindersson no combate. Valia tudo pelo show.<\/p>\n

Novo formato de luta<\/h3>\n

Aposentado do boxe desde 2017, Pop\u00f3, de 46 anos, decidiu cal\u00e7ar as luvas novamente para aderir \u00e0 febre que tomou conta dos Estados Unidos: eventos que promovem lutas entre youtubers e astros das artes marciais. O convite se deu para enfrentar Whindersson Nunes, com quem tem uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o de respeito e cordialidade. O baiano n\u00e3o titubeou e aceitou o desafio.\u00a0Ele curtiu tanto que j\u00e1 lan\u00e7ou um pr\u00f3ximo desafio: Jos\u00e9 Aldo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“L\u00e1 nos EUA tem muito youtuber desafiando lutadores de boxe, tem muita gente do MMA , ex-lutadores do UFC, e porque aqui n\u00e3o acontece? Um dos melhores da minha categoria chama-se Jos\u00e9 Aldo. Vem aqui para o meu ringue”, disse Pop\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Depois de cinco anos de treinamento de boxe, Whindersson esbanjou confian\u00e7a e entrou fazendo dancinha. Mas quando a luta come\u00e7ou, Pop\u00f3 mostrou por que \u00e9 tetracampe\u00e3o mundial. O baiano soltou bons jabs e quase derrubou o youtuber j\u00e1 no primeiro round. Ele pisou um pouco no freio no segundo round para dar o ritmo do show. Chegou at\u00e9 a brincar no terceiro round, sorrindo entre um golpe e outro.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Whindersson aguentou firme as pancadas. At\u00e9 conseguiu encaixar alguns golpes em Pop\u00f3, mas o tetracampe\u00e3o mundial usava sua experi\u00eancia para controlar a luta. Pop\u00f3 encaixou um uppercut potente no sexto round, e quase o youtuber foi \u00e0 lona. O \u00e1rbitro abriu contagem por tr\u00eas vezes e tamb\u00e9m encerrou alguns rounds antes da hora. Tudo para manter Whindersson na luta at\u00e9 o fim e confirmar o empate.<\/p>\n
