O n\u00famero de mortos pode ser ainda maior. As equipes de resgate procuram por poss\u00edveis sobreviventes. Estima-se que 42 pessoas ainda est\u00e3o desaparecidas.<\/p>\n<p>Dos corpos que est\u00e3o no Instituto M\u00e9dico Legal (IML), 65 s\u00e3o de mulheres e 36 de homens. H\u00e1, ainda, 13 menores de idade. Ao todo, 33 corpos j\u00e1 foram identificados. Houve ainda 24 pessoas resgatadas com vida. Aproximadamente 500 bombeiros trabalham nos resgates aos desaparecidos, junto com equipes da Defesa Civil e apoio de moradores da cidade.<\/p>\n<p>Para ajudar na reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o da cidade de Petr\u00f3polis, devastada por desmoronamentos de terras e morros, a Assembleia Legislativa do Rio de Janeiro anunciou repasse de R$ 30 milh\u00f5es para o munic\u00edpio. A chuva de segunda-feira foi a pior da cidade desde 1932. Choveu, em seis horas, 240 mil\u00edmetros, o que era esperado para todo o m\u00eas de fevereiro. A Defesa Civil alerta para mais chuvas nesta quarta-feira.<\/p>\n<p>A Prefeitura de Petr\u00f3polis decretou estado de calamidade p\u00fablica e avisa que quem tiver parentes desparecidos deve procurar a delegacia. Hospitais da cidade foram refor\u00e7ados com equipes m\u00e9dicas para realizar os atendimentos \u00e1s v\u00edtimas.<\/p>\n<p>A cat\u00e1strofe atingiu diversos pontos de Petr\u00f3polis, em especial o Alto da Serra, com o desmoronamento do Morro da Oficina, que atingiu 80 casas.
