A campanha chamada Abril Lil\u00e1s busca informar e mostrar a import\u00e2ncia dos cuidados com a sa\u00fade masculina. No Brasil, a doen\u00e7a corresponde a 5% do total de casos de c\u00e2ncer entre homens, de acordo com dados do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inca.gov.br\/\">Instituto Nacional do C\u00e2ncer<\/a> (INCA).<\/p>\n<p>Caio Guimar\u00e3es Neves, m\u00e9dico oncol\u00f3gico do Instituto de C\u00e2ncer de Bras\u00edlia (ICB), afirma que, apesar de raro, o c\u00e2ncer no test\u00edculo atinge, principalmente, homens entre 15 e 50 anos e se for detectada precocemente \u00e9 trat\u00e1vel e cur\u00e1vel. &#8220;Ela apresenta baixo \u00edndice de mortalidade quando diagnosticada em est\u00e1gios iniciais&#8221;, aponta. &#8220;Os pacientes devem ficar atentos ao aparecimento de n\u00f3dulos; aumento ou diminui\u00e7\u00e3o dos test\u00edculos; endurecimento; sangue na urina; dor ou desconforto sem causa aparente na parte baixa do abd\u00f4men; e sensibilidade dos mamilos&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>Preconceito<\/h3>\n<p>A falta de informa\u00e7\u00e3o e, em alguns casos, o preconceito s\u00e3o algumas das raz\u00f5es que levam os homens a deixarem de lado as consultas de rotina e procedimentos simples, indolores e fundamentais para identificar a exist\u00eancia do c\u00e2ncer de test\u00edculo. &#8220;Mesmo que raro, o c\u00e2ncer de test\u00edculo \u00e9 um tipo agressivo, pois evolui de forma muito r\u00e1pida com a duplica\u00e7\u00e3o das c\u00e9lulas tumorais&#8221;, ressalta Caio. &#8220;\u00c9 por isso que os homens devem se cuidar e se preocupar com a pr\u00f3pria sa\u00fade. \u00c9 importante que eles possam realizar os exames de preven\u00e7\u00e3o para manter uma vida saud\u00e1vel&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Dentre os fatores de risco para a doen\u00e7a est\u00e3o: hist\u00f3rico familiar, infertilidade, exposi\u00e7\u00e3o a agrot\u00f3xicos e Criptorquidia (quando um ou os dois test\u00edculos n\u00e3o descem para a bolsa escrotal).
