O projeto de lei (PL) segue para a C\u00e2mara dos Deputados.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1410972&amp;o=node\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1410972&amp;o=node\" \/><\/p>\n<p>O relator, senador Rom\u00e1rio (PL-RJ), leu seu parecer na quarta-feira (26), mas, por conta dos debates sobre a mat\u00e9ria, o presidente do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco, decidiu votar o texto apenas no dia seguinte. A mat\u00e9ria aprovada\u00a0estende a isen\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s pessoas com defici\u00eancia auditiva.<\/p>\n<h2>Entenda<\/h2>\n<p>Pela regra atual, a lei contempla taxistas, pessoas com defici\u00eancia f\u00edsica, visual, mental severa ou profunda e autistas, diretamente ou por interm\u00e9dio de seu representante legal. Conforme a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o vigente, o benef\u00edcio fiscal terminaria no final de 2021, mas o PL prorroga a isen\u00e7\u00e3o do IPI at\u00e9 o fim de 2026.<\/p>\n<p>A lei 8.989\/1995 concede isen\u00e7\u00e3o de IPI na compra de autom\u00f3veis de passageiros de fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o nacional, equipados com motor de cilindrada n\u00e3o superior a 2 mil cent\u00edmetros c\u00fabicos (cm\u00b3) de, no m\u00ednimo, quatro portas, movidos a combust\u00edvel de origem renov\u00e1vel, sistema revers\u00edvel de combust\u00e3o ou h\u00edbrido e el\u00e9tricos. O projeto amplia a isen\u00e7\u00e3o aos acess\u00f3rios opcionais do carro, n\u00e3o cobertos pela lei de 1995. Os acess\u00f3rios inclu\u00eddos pelos senadores devem servir para a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do ve\u00edculo ao uso por pessoa com defici\u00eancia.<\/p>\n<p>Senadores tentaram aumentar o limite do valor do autom\u00f3vel isento \u2013 atualmente\u00a0de R$ 70 mil.
