A condi\u00e7\u00e3o extremamente rara s\u00f3 foi registrada somente outras 200 vezes.<\/p>\n<p>A crian\u00e7a, que nasceu de cesariana, era saud\u00e1vel, com testes cerebrais, card\u00edacos, auditivos e urin\u00e1rios mostrando resultados normais. Seus pais tamb\u00e9m aparentavam ter boa sa\u00fade em torno dos 20 anos.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9dicos afirmam que a cauda era \u201cmacia, coberta de pele e pelos finos\u201d, al\u00e9m de ter uma ponta \u201cpontuda\u201d. A cauda saia do final do c\u00f3ccix e podia ser movida passivamente sem dor, mas n\u00e3o mostrava movimento espont\u00e2neo. Apesar do beb\u00ea ter chorado quando a estrutura foi furada com uma agulha.<\/p>\n<p>Conforme explicado pelos pediatras que descreveram o caso da crian\u00e7a, \u201cas caudas humanas s\u00e3o extremamente raras e geralmente s\u00e3o diagnosticadas ap\u00f3s o nascimento, sem hist\u00f3ria pr\u00e9-natal ou familiar associada \u00e0 sua ocorr\u00eancia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Geralmente s\u00e3o ap\u00eandices benignos que n\u00e3o causam nenhum problema ao paciente, mesmo ap\u00f3s a remo\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Os cirurgi\u00f5es removeram a cauda em uma pequena opera\u00e7\u00e3o realizada sob anestesia local.
